Seven years after the tragic death of footballer Emiliano Sala in a plane crash, the Nantes Commercial Court delivered a significant ruling this Monday. The court ruled against Cardiff City, which had initiated legal action seeking a considerable financial sum from FC Nantes. The tribunal not only rejected Cardiff City’s demands but also ordered the Welsh club to pay 480,000 euros in compensation to the Nantes club. Cardiff City has since expressed profound disappointment and strong disagreement with this judgment.
