Nineteen-year-old boxer Isis Sio has been placed into a medically induced coma following a brutal first-round knockout. The incident unfolded during a professional bout on the undercard of the Lester Martinez vs. Immanuwel Aleem event.
Sio’s opponent, 21-year-old Jocelyn Camarillo, a highly decorated former three-time national amateur champion, secured the victory just 78 seconds into the opening round. Camarillo trapped Sio against the ropes and unleashed a sustained and forceful attack, leading to the devastating stoppage and subsequent medical emergency.
