Stormers head coach John Dobson has voiced his reactions following his team`s remarkable and historic victory over Leinster.
Dobson confessed that the outcome was entirely unforeseen. He lightheartedly quipped, “The bookmakers are now ruined.” While acknowledging Leinster`s significant player absences, he added, “We are all aware they were missing 14 players called up to the British & Irish Lions squad, but they remain, in my opinion, the most exceptional team in the world.”
In a stunning display during the opening round of the URC, the Cape Town-based Stormers delivered a major upset by decisively defeating the reigning champions with a remarkable score of 35-0.
