A significant diagnostic error was reportedly made by Real Madrid concerning Kylian Mbappé’s recent knee injury. Information circulating indicates that the Madrid club initially examined the wrong knee of the forward.
According to reports, instead of checking Mbappé’s left knee, his right knee was initially examined. This glaring mistake reportedly angered the player, prompting him to consult a specialist in France.
Following this mismanagement and a series of other team injuries, Real Madrid reportedly dismissed its medical staff. A French specialist subsequently confirmed the error and established a muscle strengthening protocol, allowing Mbappé to avoid surgery and make a full recovery.
Kylian Mbappé himself commented on his recovery, stating that his knee was “very well.” He explained that he was fortunate to receive the correct diagnosis in Paris, which enabled him to return to his best level for the end of the season with Real Madrid and the World Cup.
