Young French winger Louis Bielle-Biarrey has made history for Bordeaux, scoring his 47th try for the club and officially becoming its all-time leading try-scorer.

This significant try was achieved during a recent match against Lyon, allowing Bielle-Biarrey to surpass the previous record holder, Australian Blair Connor, who had accumulated 46 tries. Remarkably, this impressive milestone was reached at the tender age of just 22. Meanwhile, his talented teammate Damien Penaud is also rapidly closing in on this achievement, currently boasting 44 tries from 47 matches.

The rugby club Bordeaux, for which Bielle-Biarrey now holds this prestigious record, was established in 2006.
