The Welsh rugby team Scarlets suffered a humiliating defeat against South Africa`s Stormers in the third round of the United Rugby Championship, losing by a crushing score of 0:34. This `nil` score defeat marks the first for Scarlets in the league in nearly two decades.
The Stormers completely dominated the field, scoring 17 points in each half and preventing the home side from earning a single point. The previous such failure dates back to April 2007, when Scarlets lost to Munster 0:20. Currently, Scarlets are at the very bottom of the United Rugby Championship standings, with no points to their name.
