According to an investigation by the Telegraph, Qatar has covered the expenses for numerous supporters of the Qatari national team to attend the 2026 World Cup in the United States. This included airfare, hotel rooms, match tickets, and jerseys. While the Qatari Football Association had previously announced some of these initiatives, it appears they were exceptionally generous, extending this funding to US and Canadian residents as well.
